Water Treatment Plant

At V R Technologies, we specialize in waste water treatment plants, employing state-of-the-art technologies to effectively and responsibly treat wastewater. Our solutions adhere to stringent environmental standards, promoting water conservation, and ensuring a sustainable approach to managing and purifying industrial and municipal effluents.

A water treatment plant is a facility designed to clean and purify raw water from natural sources such as rivers, lakes, or groundwater to make it safe for human consumption, industrial use, irrigation, or other purposes. The primary goal of water treatment is to remove contaminants, microorganisms, and impurities from the water while also adjusting its chemical composition to meet regulatory standards and ensure its suitability for its intended use.

  • Screening and Intake: Raw water is taken from its source and screened to remove large debris such as leaves, twigs, and other solid particles.
  • Coagulation and Flocculation: Chemicals such as alum or ferric chloride are added to the water to create tiny particles called floc. These floc particles attract and bind together with impurities, forming larger particles that can be more easily removed.
  • Sedimentation: The water is then allowed to settle in large tanks, allowing the heavier floc particles to sink to the bottom as sediment, a process known as sedimentation.
